Who are we?

Shane came to NZ from Australia in 2017. After purchasing a brand new Lexus, he noticed the lack of quality detailing products that were accessible. There, he started a hunt to find solutions. Thus in the lack of high grade user friendly products available, Detail Tonic was born! 

At Detail Tonic, our aim is to provide professional-grade products that everyone from the weekend warrior to the professional detailer can use with ease, while achieving the expected high end results. To make this experience great for our customers, we've teamed up with MaxShine car care products as a sole distributor for New Zealand. Along with our sole distribution rights with MaxShine, we are constantly looking for additional products that can help you keep your car looking glossy as ever!

Our founder Shane has over 10 years' experience in auto detailing. He's dedicated to improving customer knowledge. At Detail Tonic, we want every customer to get the very best from their MaxShine car care products, car polishers and buffing machines. Along with our MaxShine products, we are very close to releasing the Detail Tonic 5 Piece Premium Brush Kit as our first branded product.
